Lady Gaga released her video for her current single Alejandro on Tuesday. The video has sparked controversy for is religious imagery, scenes of death, and swallowing rosary beads! While many fans and church going people are raising hell about the video, Katy Perry, who’s single California Gurls that features Snoop Dogg has hit #1 this week, has spoken out about the video. Katy Perry tweeted saying “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.” Before Katy was singing about kissing girls and liking it, she began her career in Christian Contemporary music, and both of her parents are pastors (how interesting is that)? iCan honestly say that Gaga has put herself in a situation that even iCan’t defend her on. iStated on Wednesday how appalled and confused iWas at the video, not to mention disappointed. iReally agree with Katy and I’m glad that she stated what she stated. This makes me wanna go kiss a girl…I’m sure iWon’t like though.

After waiting for idk maybe 2 months, my fellow Gaga fans, stans, and little monsters have all been waiting for the Alejandro video. When the video hadn’t even began production at that time, we already had our thoughts of what to expect: guys, controversy, and guys. Well we got that and more. After watching the video the iWas shocked, confused, and scared. The stans (stalker + fan = stan, hence Eminem’s song Stan) loved the video and instantly started dissing Christina Aguilera (and vice versa, the Xtina fans we’re actually trying to get the video taken off of YouTube, at least they we’re on my twitter timeline). iUnderstand what the song is about…but iDon’t get the concept of the video (not to mention it’s 8 minutes long…look Gaga we don’t need all of this damn unnecessary stuff at the beginning of the video…or the middle)!!!! iThought that maybe after the 1st 4 minutes, the concept would kick in but all iCould come up with is that she was probably a sex slave…who so happens 2 despise her religion…or a religious sex slave who supports gay rights. Overall Must say, iLove the creativity that Gaga has. iWish that iWas as creative as she was, but the video just didn’t do it for me. Alejandro isn’t even really a song iLike on The Fame Monster, iWas hoping that the video would change that for me. iAm very much disappointed so sadly iGive the video 6.7/10.

Lady Gaga is teasing her fans yet again. When Alejandro was selected as the official 3rd single from her now platinum second album “The Fame Monster”, fans already knew what to expect: fashion, boys, and gaga being gaga. If that wasn’t enough, Alejandro has already peaked in the top 20 of the Hot 100 in over 5 countries. That makes the release of the video even more anticipated. By looking at the above pic we can say that it’s bizarre, which is fitting, since this is a Gaga music video and some may even call it epic. The Telephone video which features Beyonce has been well recieved by fans and critics alike. Let’s see what Gaga has in store for this video. Though there isn’t and offical release date, expect a few more photos to surface before this video offically premieres.
