N.E.R.D. Wants Things To Be Hot N Fun

June 18, 2010

The Pop/Rock/Hip Hop group N.E.R.D is preparing to release their fourth studio album entitled Nothing. The album is set to be released on September 7 of this year and the first single from the album is called Hot N Fun. It features Nelly Furtado. Pictures of the shoot were released online and it seems like it’s set in a dessert in California or Nevada. A teaser clip was released online a few days ago and shows close ups of Pharell and Nelly Furtado, along with alot of women! By looking at the 30 second clip, it seems like they were all on an somewhat exotic/sexabition road trip and get stuck in the dessert, which makes the whole situation, well Hot n Fun. iThink iNeed to add Mr. Williams 2 my list of future ex lovers in my head. i 4got just exactly how much iLike not only him but N.E.R.D. as well. They are very much so underrated 2 me. The trio are as good as artists as they are song writers and producers. Hopefully thins album will at least go gold. Any way, check out the pics, video teaser, and full length song below.

Tupac & Biggie Reunited

June 18, 2010

In celebration of what would have been Tupacs 39th birthday, Madame Tussauds museum in Vegas moved the figure to Washington D.C. on June 16 where he and the Biggie statue could be reunited. The Tupac figure gives me the creepy’s. It really looks like Tupac and iSwear to you my heart dropped. It’s so life like. The Biggie figure on the other hand looks like him, but you can tell it’s wax. Madame Tussaud is very talented, she’s created many wax figurines of great actors, artists, and athletes. iCan’t tell that with Tupacs.

Eminem's Album to Drop Sooner Than Expected

June 15, 2010

According to rapbasement.com and Eminem himself, the album will be released next Monday (yes people the album has indded been pushed up…that’s rare). I’m sure the hip hop heads are very much excited about this, and for some reason, iAm 2. It’d time to see a rapper take the number one spot on the Billboard 200 Album Sales charts for at least a week. Pop has been taking over. Guests for the album include Lil’ Wayne, Kobe, P!nk, and Rihanna.

Nicki Covers Black Men's Magazine

June 14, 2010

Nicki Minaj covers the July issue of Black Men’s magazine. In the magazine, she talks about her upcoming debut album entitled Catch Me. Catch Me? What a interesting album title. Sounds like shes throwing more shots at Lil Kim to me, but hey who am I 2 say? She will be singing and rapping and the album is said to have a moody/mellow futuristic vibe. I’m sure all of you people who smoke weed or what have u will enjoy this album…after all u feel like your floating in space after u finish…so iBeen told.

T.I. King Uncaged Album Cover

June 14, 2010

As we know, iLoooooove me some T.I. This man has 2 be on the top of my lists of lovers in my head…along with Kid Kudi, Chris Brown, B.O.B. and Tyga. But anyway, iJust love the way he walks, the way he speaks, and his act of wanting to provide for his family. He’s 1 of the few rap artists (counting the ones who iJust named and a handful of others) Who iActually listen 2. He’s probably among a good 3 or 4 rap artists who albums iCan listen to beginning to end and purchase legally. T.I.’s upcoming album King Uncaged is scheduled to be released on August 17th and iCan’t wait. So until it comes out, we have a few singles to listen too and his cd cover to gaze upon that was released today. The cover is simple, 2 simple if u ask me but it’s artistic…kinda. The lion not only looks a bit out of place, but it also scares me. This cover is giving me Lion King + King of the Bitches tease. Though iDon’t really like his cover, it is the best cover iSeen since the 2007 release of King. Maybe it would be better with some color. Oh well, he looks good though !

Juvenile Prepares for New Album

June 8, 2010

According to allhiphop.com, Juvenile is set to release his album Beast Mode, the follow up to December’s release of Cocky and Confident (he had an album released in December? where the hell have iBeen?) The album is said to have no features, which seems to be a new trend among many upcoming albums these days, and was produced by Juvenile himself. The first single form the album which is stated for a early July release is entitled Drop That Azz. It was released on iTunes on May 18th. iLike Juvenile. iwas lucky enough to have met him twice. iAm very much excited for his album and iHope it puts him back on the rap charts where he belongs.
