Nicki Minaj covers the July issue of Black Men’s magazine. In the magazine, she talks about her upcoming debut album entitled Catch Me. Catch Me? What a interesting album title. Sounds like shes throwing more shots at Lil Kim to me, but hey who am I 2 say? She will be singing and rapping and the album is said to have a moody/mellow futuristic vibe. I’m sure all of you people who smoke weed or what have u will enjoy this album…after all u feel like your floating in space after u finish…so iBeen told.

Teonny Speaks: Lil Kim & Nicki Minaj

So itried to stay quiet about this Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim thing but iHave to say a few sentences if not an entire page. 1stly, iLove Lil’Kim. When iWuz introduced to her with No Matter What They Say, iKnew right then and there that she would be around 4 a while. Well, of course that didn’t happen because she ended up going to jail. After she got out iWas waiting on this big comeback…all iGot was Dancing With the Stars. Nicki Minaj just picked up where Lil Kim left off. Though iDon’t really like Nicki Minaj, iTolerate her because she reminds me so much of Kim. The hair, the clothing, the barbie thing all of that was Lil Kim…and it still is. iCan understand why Lil Kim is mad at Nicki. The fact that Nicki is doing what Lil Kim SHOULD be doing just makes the whole situation worst. But at the same time, iDon’t think that they should be beefing. There aren’t that many female rappers out right now; they should just all support 1 another…give that girl power that the people like.

Thanks to necolebitchie.com we learned that last night while performing at the Filmore in New York with a special appearance from Ray J, Lil’ Kim aimed shots @ Nicki Minaj. It seems like Ray J (who is very irrelevant but makes himself relevant by making short appearances and hanging with the real money maker of the Norwood family, his big sis Brandy) started the whole thing by saying  “It’s alot of people biting her style and shit…I ain’t saying no names, but you know who…” , which lead to Lil’ Kim saying “We love her! We just want them to pay homage, so we could all rock together. It’s all about respect. You respect me, I respect you. If you don’t respect me then fuck you.”  Battle of the plastics has begun people! and iAm ready. While Lil’Kim has had some bad times the last 4 or 5 years, it’s good to see her making a comeback. She is the original barbie and every1 knows that. Hopefully she can put Nicki in her place and remind her who really runs this.

the June/July 2010 issue of Vibe Magazine was released yesterday with covergirl Nicki Minaj, and iMust say that iHate it! Not only does she look like a semi better version of Jackie-O, but she looks even more plastic and fake than she usually does. They went super heavy on the photoshop and they are really taking this Barbie thing and running with it. iMean of course it’s fair that she calls herself Barbie. She is made of silicone, saline, and plastic! And why does her breasts look like 2  thick clothes hangers surrounded by paper? Im starting to like the teaser bird picture better.

Okay, when ifirst saw this teaser cover iHad to laugh. Let me also say that Nicki Minaj scares me, iDon’t know if it’s the fact that she raps like Lil Wayne, or the fact that iReally think she is a pyscho bitch. Yesterday the teaser shot for her upcoming cover for Vibe Magazine was released. It shows Nicki in a wacky ninja like outfit and Gaga-esque hairdo. And for some reason iHave mixed feelings about it. One part of me admires the picture for the unique style, theme, and the vivid colors. The other half of me thinks that she looks like a confused ostrich or wild bird thats very much confused about it’s location. Maybe after iLook at this for a while I’ll reach a decision, but until then could some 1 please tell me why it looks like she’s ready to spred her wings and fly away to the land of birds?
