So last night at the Much Music Awards my timeline was flooding with Miley Cyrus’s name. Sadly iDon’t have MTV 2 so iCouldn’t catch the awards show. Luckily 4 me, iHave Miley Cyrus stans on my friends list (why do iCall it a friends list? when it’s clearly a list of followers as twitter says) provided these pics. iLike Miley Cyrus and iUnderstand what she’s trying do do with her image (she wants people to know that shes not a little girl anymore and that she’s growing up) but maybe she’s trying to hard, or she’s doing something wrong…see for yourself

Lady Gaga Covers Rolling Stone Magazine

Lady Gaga covers the July issue of Rolling Stone magazine. By looking at the headline “Lady Gaga Tells All”, I’m sure she’s discussing everything from her having Lupus to her controversial video Alejandro(which has only been out for almost 2 weeks and has over 23 million views on YouTube already). iThink she looks real good here and it’s good to see her with her real hair every now and then. iActually prefer her with her natural do. And yes folks, her ass is very much so photo shopped there…iStill like it.

Kelly Rowland Ready To Take Over

Leaving Matthew Knowles management and Columbia Records has got to be the best thing that Kelly has done! 1st she gets featured on the Grammy award winning single When Love Takes Over by French Dj David Guetta from his album One Love, then she drafted Jeff Rabham as her new manager and inked a deal with Universal Motown, which is also the home of big name artists such as Lil’Wayne, Busta Rhymes, and Legend Stevie Wonder. If that wasn’t enough, she signed up to record the MTN theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South African, entitled Everywhere You Go, featuring an all-star supergroup of international artists called Rhythm of Africa United. And now she’s now working on her 3rd studio album who’s title has yet to be released. The album is a combination of the urban/pop Destiny’s Child sound and Kelly’s new found love for dance music. Commander was released in May 2010 as an American promotional single and as the international lead single from the project. If that wasn’t enough, She already has the title and cover art work for the next 2 singles Grown Ass Woman and Rose Colored Glasses. iReally think that Kelly actually has a chance to prove that she’s just as good as Beyonce (better if you ask me).

N.E.R.D. Wants Things To Be Hot N Fun

The Pop/Rock/Hip Hop group N.E.R.D is preparing to release their fourth studio album entitled Nothing. The album is set to be released on September 7 of this year and the first single from the album is called Hot N Fun. It features Nelly Furtado. Pictures of the shoot were released online and it seems like it’s set in a dessert in California or Nevada. A teaser clip was released online a few days ago and shows close ups of Pharell and Nelly Furtado, along with alot of women! By looking at the 30 second clip, it seems like they were all on an somewhat exotic/sexabition road trip and get stuck in the dessert, which makes the whole situation, well Hot n Fun. iThink iNeed to add Mr. Williams 2 my list of future ex lovers in my head. i 4got just exactly how much iLike not only him but N.E.R.D. as well. They are very much so underrated 2 me. The trio are as good as artists as they are song writers and producers. Hopefully thins album will at least go gold. Starshell (Mary J Blige's New Artist)

So Mary J Blige has this new artist (the first to be signed to her label Matriarch. Matriarch, is a subsidiary of Interscope records. The singer’s name is Starshell and she is currently working on her debut album. You would think that she was a soul/rnb artist but actually shes a pop/dance artist whose music will blend well with the current songs on theBillboard Hot 100. Starshell’s debut single is entitled Superluva. It’s a contemporary, pop track and it’s kind of layered. While there’s nothing exactly amazing about Superluva, iStill like it. iCan totally see myself and my friends getting boogie to this in the club…or the car.

Christina Aguilera Debuts At Number 3

The numbers are in. While the Glee Casts new album debuts at number 1 on the Billboard 200 Charts with 158,135 copies,  and even the Twilight Saga: Eclipsesoundtrack debuted at number 2 with 155,207 copies, Christina Aguilera’s album Bionicdebuts at number 3 with only 111,838 copies. It’s not really that bad but the record company had high expectations for the album. iHad my doubts since the failure of Not Myself Tonightbut iHad to remind myself that Christina has a very loyal fan base. Well obviously that fan base is either taking their time to purchase the album, or they just aren’t feeling it. iMentioned  last week during my review that Christina has tried something new and while it’s good to reinvent yourself, it just doesn’t work for her. She gave up her slow mid tempo pop songs for upbeat pop electronica songs that just don’t fit her. The 2nd single Woohoo that features Nicki Minaj has debuted at number 79 on the Hot 100, and it doesn’t seem like it will pass the number 60 mark if u ask me. Christina is really at her best with her ballads. If she releases one of the 5 that she has on her album, not only will it help the album sell, but it will let fans know that she hasn’t reinvented herself much; nevertheless the album will still reach platinum status in due time regardless of how the fans receive the album.

Possible Beyonce Lady Gaga & Britney Spears Collab?

So iWas on YouTube doing my daily Britney Spears session, and 4 some reason, iWanted 2 hear her telephone demo (iDon’t really like it too much but hey its a demo 4 a reason). If you didn’t know, Lady Gaga originally wrote her hit single Telephone that features Beyonce for Britney’s album Circus. But Britney’s management rejected the song and Gaga kept it for herself. I’m glad that they rejected the song for Britney becuase the beat just doesn’t work for her voice. So anyway, iCame across this video on YouTube of Britney, Gaga, and Beyonce singing telephone together as a trio. Whoever did this should be paid because it’s hot. Then it hit me. What if  Gaga Britney and Beyonce did a song together? Not only will it be one of the greatest collaborations of the next 10 years, but it’ll be the greatest collboration with 3 of the most groundbreaking women in music on the same song. Prince To Recieve Lifetime Achievement Award

Prince (the most beautiful man alive) is to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards this year. The 51 year old superstar (yes 51…he doesn’t look a day over 40 iSwear) joins Whitney Houston, James Brown, and Al Green who have all been honored for the award. BET says the Prince tribute will stand out. Stephan G. Hill, the president of programming, music and specials for the network, said BET will celebrate the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s “unique style.” He also called the performer dynamic, genius, and that he IS music. iKnow 4 a fact that Cie Cie will be watching, and so will I. iLove Prince and iCan’t wait to see what he’s wearing to the event!

Britney Spears Cupcake

Well this is intresting. Take a look at this cupcake from bakehappy (you can check them out here http://bakehappy.blogspot.com). Does this cartoon character look familiar? If you aren’t a Britney Spears fan, iDon’tthink u would recognize it right off the back. To celebrate Britney breaking the twitter record for most followers (5 million and counting), the people over at Bake Happy decided to make a Britney themed cupcake. They went with her Baby One More Time look, which iFind interesting being that she broke a record with that single and it launchedher career as well. Being a Britney fan myself iMust say that  iLove the cupcake and iThink it’s very cute. Though it doesn’t really look like her (hey I’m a stan of hers, iHave to say something negative) it’s still very much creative and I’m sure if Britney herself saw it she would love it. iDon’t think  iWouldeat this actually. It’s to cute and interesting to do mess it up. iWould put this in my freezer and save it as a souvenir.

Katy Perry Speaks About Alejandro Video

Lady Gaga released her video for her current single Alejandro on Tuesday. The video has sparked controversy for is religious imagery, scenes of death, and swallowing rosary beads! While many fans and church going people are raising hell about the video, Katy Perry, who’s single California Gurls that features Snoop Dogg has hit #1 this week, has spoken out about the video. Katy Perry tweeted saying “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.” Before Katy was singing about kissing girls and liking it, she began her career in Christian Contemporary music, and both of her parents are pastors (how interesting is that)? iCan honestly say that Gaga has put herself in a situation that even iCan’t defend her on. iStated on Wednesday how appalled and confused iWas at the video, not to mention disappointed. iReally agree with Katy and I’m glad that she stated what she stated. This makes me wanna go kiss a girl…I’m sure iWon’t like though.
