Kanye is expected to release “Power” [from his upcoming Good Ass Job album] on iTunes on June 8th according to: Stereogum.com. Kanye Samples the song “21st Century Schizoid Man” from King Crimsom-which I have included below along with the Ozzy version. I got this on repeat the rest of the day!

Nine songs have been listed as offerings for those purchasing Kanye West’s CD/DVD “VH1 Storytellers” on January 5. “See You in My Nightmares”, “Robocop”, “Say You Will” and “Amazing” are some of the tracks appearing on the list.

In addition, interview with Kanye concerning stories behind each song will be featured in it. The double set was filmed in February months before he was slammed for interrupting Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Previously, Kanye West’s debut album “The College Dropout” was named by Entertainment Weekly as one of the 10 best albums of the decade. In response, the rapper who has avoided spotlight since the MTV VMAs incident wrote on his blog, “This is really flattering… i’ve had some ups and downs this year, well actually this decade. just seeing this cover takes me back to that time of my life. i remember how much pain and love went into this album.”

JAY-Z & KANYE LEAD GRAMMY NOMINATIONS!

Kanye West might have to add Jay-Z to the Grammy Family. Both artists lead the rap pack with the most Grammy nominations for the upcoming 52nd annual music gala.

Kanye picked up six nods in total in the nomination ceremony that aired earlier tonight (December 2) . The Chicago rapper/producer got two noms for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group (“Make Her Say,” alongside Kid Cudi and Common, and “Amazing” with Young Jeezy), three for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (Beyonce’s “Ego,” Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down” and Jay’s “Run This Town”) and Best Rap Song (also for “Run This Town”).

Jigga scored five nominations of his own. “D.O.A.” is in the running for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Solo Performance; “Run This Town” is also competing for Best Rap Song, as well as Best Rap/Sung Collabo and Best Rap Performance for a Duo or Group. Jay’s track with Fabolous, “Money Goes, Honey Stay,” was also given the green light for a Best Performance by a Duo nomination.

Eminem and Kid Cudi earned three noms each, while Drake, T.I. and Mos Def all share two.

Kanye West and his manager Don “DC” Crowley have been cleared of all three-misdemeanor charges that resulted from a scuffle with the paparazzi in 2008. The charges of battery, grand theft and vandalism against West and Crowley were thrown out by Los Angeles court commissioner Mark Zuckman.
