iFinally jumped on Drakes fan wagon…well kind of. iLiked over (why wouldn’t I…it wuz played everywhere iWent) and iReally like his new song Find Your Love. While his album leaked 2 weeks ago, it was officially released in stores today. As we know, Drake doesn’t only rap, but he sings 2. I 4 one prefer him singin over rapping. The album starts off with the mellow yet aggressive song Fireworks, which features Alicia Keys. It then goes to the slow reggae vibe song Karaoke where Drake is singing through and iLove it! Drake picks back up with the next few songs by rapping but slows it back down with Show Me A Good Time and the popular Up All Night featuring Nicki Minaj. This song should definitely be a single, it already has over 1 million hits on YouTube. The album is basically a collection of hip hop songs and nice rnb songs. The album works for the hip-hop heads who want to hear a nice emcee u can say, but it really caters to the rnb people who just wanna sit back and relax with their significant other. The album will definitely get girls into their birthday suit for sure so guys iSuggest u get a copy of this. My predictions of 1st week sales is around the 200-300,000 mark. I’m not a big hip-hop and rap fan so the album doesn’t really do it for me, but with Drakes singing that iLove so much, and the great production igive the album 6.5/10

Drake sports a free Lil’ Wayne shirt at the HipHop Honors lastnight. iKnow for a fact that eveyone from Young Money and escpecially Baby (Birdman) were missing Wayne last night. In the pic below it kinda looks like Drizzy wants to tear up. Its been a long time coming for him and he finally reaches the peak of his success but couldnt attend last nights festivities becuase he’s locked up. Oh well T.I. was there so yaaaaaaaaay!

As we may know, Drizzy’s highly anticipated album Thank Me Later, leaked onto the internet yetserday. The album is scheduled to be released in about 2 weeks or so. Of course we know that it’s unsure of who leaked the album, but after reading Drakes tweet yesterday, he dosen’t seem mad @ all. He actually told everyone to enjoy the album but not to 4get to buy it. His exact words we’re “I gave away free music for years, so we’re good over here … just allow it to be the soundtrack to your summer and ENJOY! JUNE 15th!” I’m pretty sure that the album will be the soundtrack to people’s summer fall winter and sping’s to come…at least until his next album is released. Drake is hot right now, and though ican’t really get n2 him, iMay do so in the future.

According to many reports as stated by SOHH.com, Drake is set to do heavy promotion for his upcoming debut album Thank Me Later. He’s booked appearances on many high profile shows all before the release date June 15. During the release of the album he shall visit 106 & Park. He will then fly to LA for a performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on the 23 and Jimmey Kimmel Live! on the 24th, and not only his he nominated for a BET AWard, he’s also performing. U better promote this album Drizzy! iCan honestly say that I’ve liked Drake since Degrassi, but iHaven’t really got into his music. That is kind of changing now. Evvvvvvvverywhere iTurn some1 is playing 1 of his songs and iCan’t help but sing alone. I’m sure his album will debut within the top 5 of the Hot 200 Albums chart.

Who would of known that Drake was an Aaliyah fan…but then again who wasn’t (it seems like after her death she became even more popular which is sad but thats a totally different story…and if u are reading this saying that’s a lie then u are guilty of doing it…again isay thats another story). Drake paid homage to the memory of the late singer by using her vocals from her hit song “At Your Best” in his song “Unforgettable” from his new album entitled “Thank Me Later” which is due out in June. The song features Young Jeezy who too seems 2 be an Aaliyah fan. Though it is said to be a homage to her, ireally don’t see how. All he’s doing is rapping over a beat using some of her songs as punchlines while she comes in on the hook. If this is a homeage then its not a very good one.
